THERAPEUTIC SERVICES
I currently offer counselling and psychotherapy for individuals from the age of 16 years and for couples. These sessions can take place face to face in Middlewich and Sandbach, with the option for individuals to also access sessions online, by phone and via walking outdoor therapy in a variety of locations in Cheshire East, Staffordshire Moorlands and Derbyshire.A strong therapeutic relationship is key to meaningful progress and I offer a free consultation so you can make an informed decision in choosing me to support you on your journey.
ABOUT ME
I am a BACP registered integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor. This means I have a wealth of tools in my kit to support people who are perhaps finding some challenges in life and want to work through them. I have experience of working with adults and young people in a trauma informed way supporting a number of struggles, including perinatal mental health, anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, work stress, loss, parenting, relationship issues and emotional regulation.I am neurodiversity friendly and seek to create a supporting and affirming environment for all clients.
HOW DO I HELP PEOPLE?
Through training and experience, I have built a range of tools that allow me to find the right way to work with each unique client. Some clients want to talk through present difficulties to gain some clarity, some want to develop a range of techniques to help them to feel better in tricky situations and others want to work through the impact of long term or historic experiences. Working in a bespoke way with each person, we can explore what the difficulties are and the best way to work with them. This can mean that I am more directive at times and less at others. The therapy is joint work with the therapeutic relationship at the heart of it.
